Solution Steps:
Step 1: Navigate to Payment Methods Setup
Go to your store's admin panel and find the Settings section and click on it.
- Click on Payments to begin setting up your payment methods.
Step 2: Select a Payment Method
- After clicking the Add Payment Method button a list of available payment methods will be displayed.
- You can choose from various options including PayPal, Cash on Delivery, Bank Wire Transfer, Stripe, ePay and Braintree.
- For this guide, we will demonstrate setting up PayPal as an example but other payment methods can be configured similarly.
Step 3: Install and Configure PayPal
- Select PayPal from the list and click on the Install button.
- Once installed, PayPal will appear in your list of active payment methods.
Step 4: Configure PayPal Settings
- Once PayPal is installed, navigate to the Settings tab to configure the required fields.
- Customize the Name and Logo of the payment method as it will appear to customers.
- Choose the Environment Mode: select Test Mode for testing transactions or Live Mode for real transactions.
- Enter your PayPal Email Address and ensure that the currency you wish to receive payments in is correctly set.
